Christmas

My turn yet????

Christmas dinner at the Eriksen's house
Christmas dinner with the two families

More dining room - little different, but still the same

Sofa from IKEA with new slip cover from Bemz.com

First floor

From behind the dining table

Guest room from earlier, without my favorite picture (see below in the blog)

Fireplace

Stairs

It's all white now, but we're putting carpet just in the middle of the steps. So much to do, and so little time sometimes. We are waiting for the carpenter, but so is everyone else...

Master Bedroom

This is our bedroom. The wallpaper is from Elitis, and is leather lookalike in magenta pink with brownish walls

Love my new matching lampshades, designed by me!

Another angle of our bedroom. We are to change the floor, but I haven't found the right one yet. Maybe some lookalike leather tiles in brown - think that's very hot!! I saw this in a fancy hotel in France and fell in love!

Various

Check out this picture... My neighbour took this photograph, in a park in Moss. Morten and I wrote down the words, that are meaningful to us, Cathrine & Gianni (my Italian friends) translated the text, and I wrote it down, so Jorn could manipulate it into the picture, and he painted kind of a haze all over the picture. I LOVE THIS PAINTING/PHOTOGRAPH!!!!
One of the guestrooms. We have 4 bedrooms, but turned one into a home office

The stairs to upstairs...

Living room

Our "library" corner

Morten actually made these shelves himself... good job!

This wasn't really a good picture.... I'll find another one. Check out the snow... Steffen; wanna come??

Our Home office

Detail from the home office

Our home office - love to work here!

More bath...

We all need some pampering...

Built in sink

The new bathroom

Marble tiles on the wall and on the floor

Washer and dryer. We are to build in this, but things takes time.... They start on this next week

We're gettin' there....

Essential books....

The TV wall, and the door into the new bathroom.... and the dog...

TV wall

More house

This is the TV room downstairs, with two sofas from IKEA - in pink.... with grey/brown walls. Another of my favorite colors

Perfect sofa/bed for TV. Just lay down and relax!

The Herminator and his Mulberry bed...

More house

Demolition

At hour friends summer house - love this place. It's very close to Oslo on an island in the Oslofjord

Our neighbourhood

The view from Vettakolltoppen - one of my favorite places! You can see the Oslofjord, and the City is just so close, but still distant!

Renovating the famous Holmenkollen Ski jump - it's almost done now. In March they'll have it ready for the first international skijump since the renovation started. Next year it's the World Championship, Morten is working as a volunteer, and will also work at the Worldcup in March this year. The new jump is absolutely spectacular!!!

The Herminator loves his "backyard", had to hit the shower after though.... don't like the shower as much...

Dr. Nelson and the spectacular view of Oslo!

Just another Sunday. We brought provisions, and had a nice brake on the top. The whole route we did takes about 2 hours to walk.

Some pics from our house

Herman in our Garden - he loves it!

This is our hallway, you can't really see the color that well, but it's one of my favorites!

God Jul - as you know - Merry Christmas! Lampshade from Mulberry Home.

The door between the hall and hallway.

Pottery Barn's Christmas JOY!

Lyskasse
